In a unexpected collaboration that defies conventional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Disclosed

According to the official release, "A strange confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying transformations reverberate through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine cult.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Transformations

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
