It's a challenge for the Australian squad to break new ground.

It needed until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

"The possibility to play and engage in competition with her and just have a bit of fun in that regard, kind of motivated me," said Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her quickest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 balls as she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

When she was out Australia required another 66 at one run per ball - an achievable target now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I am glad we have the assurance to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, should it happen, we know we can achieve it."

That comment will be the final thing competing nations at this World Cup want to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will win from any position has become more firm - this victory succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.
